HelperMate — Subscription and Pricing Policy

1. Overview
This Subscription and Pricing Policy ("Policy") governs all pricing, subscription plans, and related terms for HelperMate, operated by TEMFARMING (UEN: 53508432C), a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore.
By using HelperMate, you agree to this Policy. This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Current Pricing: Free Introductory Period
2.1 Free Access
HelperMate is currently available free of charge to all users. All features described in the Terms of Service are accessible at no cost during the introductory period.
There is no time limit on the introductory period. It will remain in effect until further notice from TEMFARMING.
2.2 Features Included
During the free introductory period, all users have access to:
- Task management, weekly routines, and schedule coordination
- Salary record-keeping and payment history
- MOM compliance tracking (Work Permit, Medical, Passport expiry reminders)
- Rest day recording
- Expense recording with OCR receipt scanning
- Multilingual interface
- SOS emergency contact shortcut
- Rights and guidelines reference
- Push notifications for task and compliance reminders
- Household management (create, join, and manage households)
2.3 No Payment Required
During the free introductory period:
- No credit card or payment method is required to use the App
- No charges will be applied to your Apple ID or Google account
- No in-app purchases are necessary to access any feature
3. Future Subscription Plans
3.1 Planned Premium Features
TEMFARMING may introduce a Premium subscription tier in the future. If and when Premium features are introduced:
- Helper users will always have access to core features at no charge. Helpers will never be required to pay to use HelperMate for their household management needs.
- Premium features, if introduced, will be targeted at Employer users and may include advanced functionality beyond the current feature set.
- Features available during the free introductory period will not be removed or placed behind a paywall without at least 30 days advance notice.
3.2 Advance Notice
Before introducing any paid features or subscription plans, TEMFARMING will:
- Notify all users at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app notification
- Clearly communicate which features will remain free and which will require a subscription
- Provide a detailed comparison of Free and Premium tiers
- Allow users adequate time to evaluate their options before any charges apply
3.3 No Automatic Charges
TEMFARMING will never automatically charge users or convert free accounts to paid subscriptions without explicit user action. Any future subscription will require:
- Active opt-in by the user
- Explicit confirmation through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Clear disclosure of pricing before any purchase is confirmed
4. Future Payment Processing
If and when paid subscriptions are introduced:
4.1 Payment Channels
All payments will be processed exclusively through:
- Apple App Store (iOS devices) — Charges to your Apple ID
- Google Play Store (Android devices) — Charges to your Google account
TEMFARMING does not and will not directly process, store, or access your payment card details. All payment information will be handled securely by Apple or Google under their respective security standards (PCI-DSS compliant).
4.2 Future Cancellation
If a paid subscription is introduced, users will be able to cancel at any time:
- iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > HelperMate > Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > HelperMate > Cancel Subscription
4.3 Future Refund Policy
Any future refunds will be governed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies:
- Apple: Submit refund requests at https://reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Request refunds through Google Play support
TEMFARMING does not process refunds directly. For billing enquiries, contact support@helpermate.app.
5. Price Change Policy
In the event of any pricing changes (including the initial introduction of paid features):
- We will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app notification
- New pricing applies only from the next billing cycle after the notification period
- If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect
- Continued use after the price change date constitutes acceptance
6. Data and Account Continuity
Regardless of any future pricing changes:
- Your data remains yours and is accessible regardless of subscription status
- Account deletion is always available at no cost (App > Menu > Profile > Delete Account)
- Data portability requests are honoured regardless of subscription tier
- Transitioning between tiers (if introduced) will not result in data loss
7. Privacy and Data
Your use of HelperMate is subject to our Privacy Policy (available at helpermate.app/privacy). In connection with any future subscription:
- We may process your account information (email, subscription status) for service delivery
- TEMFARMING does not have access to your payment card details
- No individually identifiable data is used for marketing profiling
- For data access or deletion requests, contact dpo@helpermate.app
8. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes relating to pricing or subscription matters shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
For consumer protection queries, you may also refer to the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) at cccs.gov.sg or the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) at case.org.sg.
